Anne LaVerne Crain went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on November 30, 2015 at the age of 90. Born in Algua Dulce, Texas to Alonzo and Annie B. Simmons, she was the fourth of six children.
At the age of sixteen Anne met her “forever love” Howard, and celebrated 69 wonderful years of marriage until his death in January 2010.
Anne is survived by her children: Gary Crain (Edie), Beverly Goode (Joe), Jeanne Mitchel (Jeff) and Diana Blackstone as well as ten grandchildren and daughter-in-law Glenna.
Anne was preceded in death by her son Lynn Crain.
A celebration of her life will be held on Sunday, December 6, 2015 with a private family service at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks.
