Bobbie Warren, 72, passed away unexpectedly Saturday night at her home. Bobbie was born in Yorktown, Texas, and was baptized and confirmed Lutheran at an early age. She always followed the Lutheran faith.
Preceding her in death are her parents, Arnold and Sophie Kubala; brother and sister-in-law, Johnny and Janice Kubala; and her loving spouse, Luther Ramm, who was called to his heavenly home in June 1996. She married Lawrence Warren in February 2004, and they shared a very special, caring and loving relationship. She was blessed to have two husbands in her life that doted on her and loved her very much.
Bobbie is survived by her husband, Lawrence; her brother, Larry Kubala (Vickie); sister, Patsy Kubala Warren; step-sons, David Warren (Paulette) and Monroe Warren (Marty); and a very special niece and nephew, Ann Warren Pierce and Deke Pierce. She is also survived by her brothers-in-law, Glenn Warren (May), Bo Warren, Lester Warren (Dorothy) and Wallace Ramm (Jane); sisters-in-law, Beth McDonald and Marilyn Ramm; and many special nieces and nephews. Her friends are too numerous to name, but she loved every one of you. She would have wanted to thank all of her friends at “Ole Timers”, U.S.S. Enterprise CV-6 Association, and the VFW Hall in Georgetown for always making her feel special.
Family and friends are invited to a visitation to be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home in Pflugerville. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, February 23, 2012 in the Memorial Chapel of Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home with Pastor Keith Gravesmill, Our Savior Lutheran Church, officiating. Interment will follow at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Cemetery. Thank you Pastor G, we are blessed to have you in our lives.
The family requests that memorial gifts be sent to the Animal Shelter in Georgetown, Texas, or to Our Savior Lutheran Church, 1513 E. Yager Lane, Austin, Texas 78753.
