Bertha Dulin, daughter of Normie McConico and Mary Ellen Henderson, was born in Dallas County (Minter), Alabama on April 10, 1924. She departed this life on March 13, 2012 to join our heavenly father.
After moving to Charlotte, North Carolina, Bertha united in matrimony to Junius Dulin, who preceded her in death. She also joined the New Hope Baptist Church, where she remained a dedicated and faithful member until she relocated in Texas in 2006. She was living in Texas at the time of her passing.
She leaves to cherish in Texas one sister, Vera Watts; and two nieces, Stephanie Shipp and Lorraine Watts. She also leaves a host of nieces and nephews in Florida and Virginia; and in North Carolina she leaves her adopted family, “The Hollingsworth’s”, The New Hope Baptist Church family, along with other loving relatives and many friends.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 17, 2012 at the Cook-Walden/Memorial Hill Cemetery in Pflugerville, Texas.
