On July 16, 1959 she married Gerald L. Mueller Sr. She worked for Austin Independent School District for many years and was a longtime member of Pflugerville Baptist Church. Betty enjoyed sewing, cooking, baking and her church.
She is survived by her husband, Gerald “Jerry” L. Mueller Sr.; her children, Gerald L. Mueller Jr. and his wife Bonita, James W. Mueller and his wife Tanna, and Deron K. Mueller and his wife Roxanne; grandchildren, Brian Matheny (Brian Chavez), Kristal Mueller, Jason Mueller (Cecilia), Jr. Mueller (Devyn), Ryne Mueller (Rachael), Randy Mueller, Sydney Mueller (Alex Glace), Carson Mueller (Kendal Barker) and Tyler Mueller; great-grandchildren, Brayden, Carter and Weston Mueller, Liam and Kaylee Timmerman, Ollie and Rylie Mueller and Ella Glace. She is also survived by her brother, Charles Ward and his wife Sally and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation for family and friends will be held Thursday, November 9, 2023 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home in Pflugerville, Texas. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, November 10, 2023 at the funeral home chapel. Following the service, she will be laid to rest at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Cemetery.
Betty was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
