A devoted husband to Wanda Marie, he longed to see her every day since she went to be with Jesus. His pride and joy were his son Randy, daughter Karen, and daughter-in-law Denise. His grandchildren, Garland, Spencer, and Lily Pearl were the light of his life, as well as his bonus grandchildren Jake Griedl and Sarah Scarborough. He derived pure joy from his two great-grandchildren, Griff and Vivi Griedl.
Bishop Phillips served the congregation of Promiseland for more than fifty years as their beloved Shepherd. He traveled across the world preaching the gospel fervently and championing the message of Jesus’ Name and the Acts 2:38 experience.
