Bradley was born on April 23, 1964 in Harare, Zimbabwe to Noaline and Thomas Smith.
He attended Gifford High School in Zimbabwe, where he achieved top honors and continued his formal education at Boston University, MA and Long Island University in NY, graduating with BSC, Computer Hardware Engineering and BSC, Computer Science respectively.
As an avid boxer, Bradley accomplished the Rhodesian National Boxing Featherweight Championship Title in 1979, and was selected to represent Rhodesia (Zimbabwe) in the 1980 Olympics. Many hours were spent listening to music by Elvis (his favorite), Willie Nelson, Roy Orbison, The Bee Gees, Queen, John Lennon and many others.
He was constantly reading and learning more from physicists like Richard Feynman, Stephen Hawking, and Roger Penrose. He thoroughly enjoyed lecturing and mentoring people on physics, calculus, microprocessors, PC internals, electronics ~ and actually anything else that needed explaining. He was in the midst of writing a book that explained all of the above, entitled “Making Sense of It All”.
His childhood dream of making it to America was realized in 1997, when he arrived in Atlanta, Georgia. Since then, he has been determined to bring his daughter to America and become an American Citizen.
Bradley is survived by his daughter, Tarryn Jessica, his wife Mandy Morrison, his mother Noaline Bloom, sister Sarah Jackson and stepson Dylan Morrison.
