Brandy Sherri Cisneros Orona

She was born in Abilene, Texas to John A. Cisneros, Jr. and Rosana Hernandez but was raised in the Austin, Texas area. Brandy married her longtime love Mario Orona, Sr. earlier this year and is survived by him and their five children, Mario Orona, Jr., Jordan Hargett, Majenta Orona, Michaelangelo “Angelo” Orona and Miranda Orona. She is also survived by her parents, brothers John A. Cisneros III and JoeAl C. Cisneros, her mother-in-law Maria C. Hernandez along with a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents John M. Cisneros, Sr., Aurora A. Zuniga, her father-in-law Manuel R. Orona and her grandson Nova Gerald Minco Garcia.

Brandy was a loving wife and mother and was immensely proud of her family. She leaves behind nothing but beautiful memories and is an inspiration to all who knew her. Brandy will be greatly missed.

Visitation will be held Thursday, May 23rd from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home in Pflugerville. Funeral Services will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday, May 24th at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home with Roy Cisneros, Jr. officiating.

The family asks that donations be made to the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition in support of ovarian cancer research, in lieu of sending flowers.
