Carolyn Sue Daniels, age 81, passed away on Saturday, July 8, 2023, in Austin, TX., after a brief stay at Gracy Woods 1 Nursing Center. She was born November 26, 1941, in Georgetown, TX, Williamson County. Her parents, Robert (Bob) Lee Daniels (age 61) and Mary Oleta Wade Daniels (age 100), preceded her in death.
Carolyn attended Austin Public Schools and completed the 12th grade in Special Education at Austin High School. She lived with her mother on Romeria in Austin, TX during most of her adult life. Later in life when mental issues presented itself, Carolyn moved to the Pflugerville Group Home under the care of Edu Care Community Living. She lived there for 24 years where she was lovingly cared for.
Carolyn’s favorite pastime in her younger years was embroidering and babysitting her nieces and 2 favorite cousins. She enjoyed family trips and gatherings.
She is survived by 2 sisters, Joyce Lyon (husband Skeet) and Marilyn Estlack; 2 nieces, Dawn Estlack Sweet (husband Steven) and Amy Estlack Herzer (husband Ron); great nieces and nephew, Jennifer Sweet Wendt (husband Jon), Mary Sweet, Sarah Herzer and Dylan Wade Herzer. Her brother-in-law, David Estlack, preceded her in death.
The Graveside service will be 10:00 am on Wednesday July 12th, 2023 in the Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Cemetery in Pflugerville.
Elder Mark Richards and Pastor of Little Vine Primitive Baptist Church, will officiate.
Pallbearers will be Dawn Sweet, Steven Sweet, Amy Herzer, Ron Herzer, Dylan Herzer, and Jon Wendt.
