For most of his life, Chris lived in Austin, Texas growing up in both the Northeast and North Austin areas where he graduated from Anderson High School in 1986. Chris then graduated from Southwest Texas State University (Texas State University) then several years later went on to earn his Doctor of Jurisprudence from Texas Southern University.
Over the years, Chris pursued many entrepreneurial ventures. At the time of his death, Chris and his brother Parrish were working together on a thriving and growing business.
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Presnall and Esther Manning, paternal grandparents Clyde and Roxie Moore, and Aunt, Linda Moore Smith.
Chris is survived by his children, Cameron and Kendall, parents, Emma Manning Moore and James Edward Moore, brother, Sean and wife Lisa Moore, brother, Parrish Moore, nieces Aja, Clarke, and Micah Moore, great niece Mia Thomas, Aunts and Uncles, Bertha (Bert) and James Campbell, Clydell and Frederick Kelley, Pamala (Pam) and Melvin Pennington, Simona and Charles Hamilton, Jimmy and Dorothy Flakes, Grace and Clifford Blackwell, numerous cousins and a host of extended family and friends.
The family wishes to thank so many friends for their outpouring of care and concern.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, February 6, 2020 at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home in Pflugerville, Texas. Funeral services will begin at 3:00 p.m., Friday, February 7, 2020 in The Memorial Chapel of the funeral home followed by a catered reception from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
