Courtney Nicole Wisehart, 24, of Hutto, Texas was called home to be with the Lord on October 17, 2015 after a tragic car accident in Pflugerville, Texas. Courtney was born on March 24, 1991 in Austin, Texas to the proud parents of Brian and Cheryl Wisehart. Courtney attended Hutto High School and was a Hutto Hippo Cheerleader for 3 years and graduated in 2009. She went on to attend McNeese State University and graduated with an Animal Science degree in May of 2014. Courtney was an active member of First Baptist Church of Pflugerville where she gained a saving relationship with Jesus Christ.
At a young age, Courtney quickly developed a strong love for the sport of gymnastics and was able to continue to use her passion throughout college as a gymnastics coach. After graduating, she moved back to Hutto and continued her passion of coaching at Capital Gymnastics in Cedar Park. Courtney was dedicated to teaching children and spreading her love for gymnastics. Her smile could light up a room and she always gave and never asked for anything in return. Since she was little, Courtney loved to be outdoors and whenever she had free time you could find her huntin’ and fishin’ with her daddy by her side or riding four-wheelers with her sister.
Courtney is survived by her parents Brian and Cheryl, her sister Kaitlyn Wisehart and Kaitlyn’s fiancé Jonathan Hankins, and maternal grandparents, Bobby and Barbara Johnson – all of Hutto, Texas. Courtney was preceded in death by Clarence and Jewel Wisehart. Survivors also include an extended loving family and a very long list of close friends.
A celebration of life service to honor and remember Courtney’s life will be held at First Baptist Church of Pflugerville, with Dr. Steve Washburn officiating, on Friday, October 23, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. The memorial visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 22, 2015 at First Baptist Church of Pflugerville.
In lieu of flowers and gifts, The Wisehart Family asks that you donate to the Courtney Nicole Wisehart Memorial Fund.
