James had a very unique/original personality. He was truly an adventurous person and embraced & lived life the way he wanted. He had multiple jobs over his lifetime from working for the University of Texas Austin to Loss Prevention for several large grocery store chains in California to his last job at Visual Innovations here in Austin where he retired from several years ago. He seemed to always have a handyman project underway and was willing to help neighbors and others whether it was by loaning out his tools, sharing his knowledge or pitching in to assist. He had great work ethic and passed this trait on to his sons.
In 1975 he married Patricia Thomas and to this union three sons were born – Jerell, James, and Jonothan.
