Professionally, Dale was a longtime associate of Fontain International and an Independent Consultant for the Engineering Valve Industries throughout the United States. Many of Dales professional colleagues regarded him as a person with a high moral standard, respect, honor, and honesty. Those who knew and loved Dale outside of his profession describe him as a selfless Christian man with high integrity. Dale loved God, his Family, and his Country.
Dale was a lifelong Pittsburg Steelers fan who loved to watch his football games with his pipe and Terrible Towel in hand. He loved taking road trips with his wife, and soul mate, Linda to various casinos in the neighboring states of Texas! He loved to fish and spend time with his grandkids. Dale also had a great passion for the game of Golf. If he wasn’t watching a Steelers game or playing the slots at a casino, then you could always find him on the golf course!
Dale was blessed with 5 daughters and 1 son, 11 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren. Throughout his life, Dale loved and supported all his children and it gave him great joy to see them all flourish in their own ways.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Sunday, January 12, 2020 at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home in Pflugerville, Texas. The funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m., Monday, January 13, 2020 at St. Matthews Episcopal Church in Austin, Texas
