After you, I never could keep drawing like i used to do before. Because you were the one who motivated me to keep creating art whatever my situation was. Who gave me wings . Today I minted my first NFT after your passing. My heart was tightening all the time. How can i be active in NFT world and art community without you ? I hope, HOPE you be able to see my artworks from heaven. 
I wish! I really wish so. Please god. Let him see them and i hope he likes them like he used to do. 
It’s so painful to be sure that there is no longer ANY way to communicate with you. It’s so painful! I wonder how your dear family dealt with it. Danny’s dear family, I wish you patience and healing ❤️‍🩹 I know how terribly hard it is. Surely Danny is in heaven, I hope he still remembers us.

Danny was one of the first friends I made after starting public school, because I started off with none. And of course our friendship was centered around rock music. I remember him riding his bike over to our house, pockets loaded with music to introduce me to, and he introduced me to a lot. I can't even count the hours spent between our houses listening to new music, playing video games. I went to my first concert with Danny and would have a hard time remembering all of the heavy metal shows we went to the first two Years of high school. Danny was a really great friend and I learned a lot from him. I wish very much that I would have had a chance to sit and just visit with him one more time. I send my sympathy and condolences and prayers for healing during this time of heartache, pain and loss to his family and friends and most especially his Daughter.

Danny... Danny i hadn’t believed it until i saw this report. You always used to call me angel, but the real angel was actually you. You were an angel and you gave me wings to fly, you helped me grow and become a strong girl, you helped me improve my skills and my art. You left so early, it makes me cry thinking i will never be able to see you and talk to you, you deserved the best, best life, best people around you. People who really care about you people who meet you and communicate with you. Not people who leave you alone…. You were the kindest man i know in my life. Now i can’t control my tears and i wish you could read this. I wish i could talk to you one more time. Danny, you changed someone’s life. You deserve to be in heaven, i know you’re in heaven. I’m sure. I will meet you after my death. You will always be in my heart, i will never forget you. I will tell my friends and my family about you and i will tell them how kind and heavenly you were. I will miss you until I die, because after death i will meet you. And to your family: “Dear Danny’s fam, Take care of people you love. I wish you peace and comfort .”

One Road House Crowd memory that stands out is one of our wild Vegas trips in the 90s. Danny had scored buddy passes for Kimmins and me on Continental for a red-eye flight from Austin to Vegas. We were running on beer and excitement, deciding to skip the hotel and gamble the entire day before catching the returning red-eye to Austin.

As soon as we hit the blackjack tables, Danny's luck was on fire. He was winning big, and the chips were stacking up. But as the hours passed, luck took a turn, and Danny found himself down to his last two bucks. Meanwhile, it was time for Kimmins and me to head to the airport. Danny's flight was scheduled 30 minutes later on America West Airlines, giving him a bit more time to try and turn things around.

Seeing Danny's predicament, I dug into my pocket and handed him my last $200, hoping he'd manage to recover some of his losses before heading home. With a grateful smile, Danny returned to the table, determined to change his fortunes.

When Kimmins and I arrived at the airport, we were hit with the news that our flight was canceled. We ended up spending a long, uncomfortable night on a hard bench in the Vegas airport, barely getting any sleep. The next day, exhausted, we boarded our flight back to Austin, dreading the long workday ahead.

As we landed and taxied to the gate, I glanced out the window and couldn’t believe my eyes. There was Danny, looking fresh and rested, unloading bags on the belt loader. Somehow, he had not only made it back before us but also managed to win back his money. As soon as he saw us, he flashed a triumphant grin and handed me back the $200.

Danny's resilience and luck always amazed me, and it's memories like these that I'll hold onto forever.

Danny was a great friend to many and the leader of our Road House Crew. He was always our biggest fan and guardian angel. I will forever treasure the times we shared together. I’m sure I speak for many when I say that we all felt invincible in Danny's presence. Without hesitation, Danny always had our backs. He had a huge heart for the things and people he loved.

We shared countless laughs and good times at the Black Cat, Lago, Port A, floating on the Guadalupe, the Condop, the Condop Deux, Grooms Mansion, late nights at Star Seeds, Continental Ops, Le Chateau Duval...the list goes on and on.

I send my sincerest condolences to his daughter and family.

Continental Ops!

From teaching me the trumpet in Drifmeyer’s class, to getting me a job at Continental, to fishing in Texoma, all the way to too many nights in the Roadhouse, and everything in between! Danny showed me the way. I love you Bro!

Danny was a friend, a fishing partner, and a genuinely caring individual.  His passion for music and fishing was unmatched by anyone I have ever known.  He fought for the underdog when he thought they had been wronged, even if he had nothing to gain himself.  He will be missed by everyone that knew him.  Danny influenced my life in positive ways more than he ever knew.  Rest in Peace.

For like a good 2 years in a row in the late 90's every Tuesday & Thursday, Danny and I would go downtown to 6th Street and play pool for about 3 hours and then go watch "Joe Rockhead" and "Soul Hat", two great bands from Austin, Texas back then.  And Danny & I would always end the night driving home singing  80's music we loved so much and grew up on. I'll always remember those great times with you Danny .....love you brotha'!!!
