Daniel C Rodriguez

Daniel C. Rodriguez Jr. of Manor, Texas passed away on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at the age of 50. He was born on June 17, 1975, in Austin, Texas where he grew up as the oldest of 8 siblings. He liked to share family dinners without distractions, playing outside with neighbors until dark, and tight supportive relationships with siblings and extended family.

He graduated from Stephen F. Austin High School in 1994

He worked as a Safety Coordinator for Prism Electric Co.

He was actively involved in Church and loved working on his 1972 Pontiac Le Mans GTO, listening to all kinds of music, loved helping people, and being a family jokester, sending memes to brighten their day and spending time with family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his beloved mother Natalia C. Rodriguez.

He is survived by his spouse Maria Milargros Becerra, and three children: Valeria Becerra, Johnathon Rodriguez and Natalia C. Becerra Rodriguez.

Memories from Son: Playing and watching American football with my dad are memories I’ll always cherish.

Oldest daughter: My dad always made sure I had my snacks and was always there when I needed him. He sacrificed everything for his family and never gave up.

Youngest daughter: When I was five years old, my dad would carry me on his shoulders while we walked. From up there, the world felt bigger and safer at the same time.

I also remember sleeping with my sister and waking up from nightmares. I would run to my dad’s room, and without ever asking questions, he would pull me close, hug me tight, and sing softly into my ear until I fell asleep again. In those moments, everything bad faded away.

A visitation will be held at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home & Cemetery, located at 14501 North IH-35, Pflugerville, Texas, 78660, on January 27, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

The recitation of the Holy Rosary will take place at Cook-Walden Capital Parks, 14501 N IH 35, Pflugerville, Texas, on January 27, 2026, at 7:00 pm.

A funeral mass will be conducted at Cristo Rey Catholic Church, 2208 E 2nd St, Austin, Texas, 78702, on January 28, 2026, starting at 10:00 am.

The committal service with military honors will be held at Cook-Walden Capital Parks Cemetery, 14501 N IH 35, Pflugerville, Texas, 78660, on January 28, 2026.

On behalf of the Rodriguez and Becerra families, we want to thank everyone for the overwhelming love and support during this incredibly difficult time. Daniel was truly loved by all. His soul is now at rest—he will sleep in peace, and his work on this earth is complete.
