Danny Reyes Capelo

Danny Reyes Capelo, 61, became a citizen of our Lord's Heavenly Kingdom on Friday, September 2, 2022. Danny was born January 2, 1961 in Austin, Texas. Danny was a 1980 graduate of LBJ High School. After graduating, he enlisted in the United States Army and proudly served 4 years in the military. Danny was stationed in Europe. Danny's passion was watching the UT Longhorns and the Dallas Cowboys. He was their #1 fan. Danny was a spiritual person, a loving, caring, compassionate son, brother, uncle and friend. His quick wit and humor will be dearly missed by all.

Danny is preceded in death by his mother Elizabeth Reyes Capelo Speiss. He is survived by his loving brothers and sisters: Martha Arguello, Abelardo “Sonny” Capelo, Judah Lendl, Lisa Suarez (Julio), Donald Quinonez, Sandy Capelo and Rick Capelo (Shay). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

A visitation for Danny will be held Thursday, September 8, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home, 14501 North Interstate 35, Pflugerville, Texas 78660. A Rosary for Danny Reyes Capelo will occur Thursday, September 8, 2022 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM, 14501 North Interstate 35, Pflugerville, Texas 78660. A graveside service will occur Friday, September 9, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Cemetery, 14501 North Interstate 35, Pflugerville, Texas 78660.
