Debbie was a wonderful mother, daughter, sister, and friend. Her family and friends will remember her for her sense of humor, and laid-back non-judgemental attitude. When her son, Michael, attended A&M she became a devoted and die-hard fan of the Aggies. She cherished her time with her grandchildren and always had a story to tell about their accomplishments and adventures.
Debbie worked for the Texas Commision on Environmental Quality for 28 years as an Administrative Assistant. She loved her work and keeping “her guys” organized. She was a true caretaker of people. She recently retired for health reasons, but if it were up to Debbie, she would have continued to work. Debbie was, and is, so loved, and will be truly missed.
Debbie is preceded in death by her youngest son, Paul R. Peters, III, her beloved husband, Paul Robert Peters, Jr., and her parents Smittie and Jean Clark. She is survived by her oldest son, Michael Heath and wife Stephanie; grandchildren, Haleigh, Brayson, and Addie-Mykel Heath; brother David Alan Clark and wife Pam and nephews, Kendall Clark, Kyle Clark, Flint Brewer, and Taylor Brewer.
