As a native Austinite she attended McCallum High School. She was a devoted and beloved member of Alcoholics Anonymous for over 9 years. She was very intrigued by anything relating to the Mob, she loved watching documentaries and learning all she could about it.
She is preceded in death by her sister, Marleen Hooker. She is survived by her son, Matthew Mallett, brother, Gary Mallicoat; sister, Cindy Medlock, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was never a stranger to anyone and always saw the good in people, she leaves behind a host of friends that will miss her immensely.
The visitation will be held on Sunday, July 29, 2018 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. with a celebration of life starting at 4:00 p.m. in the Memorial Chapel of Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home in Pflugerville, Texas.
