Dennis Lloyd Schultz

Dennis Lloyd Schultz, age 67, passed away on Friday, October 29, 2021, at the Center at Parmer in Austin, TX. He was born on March 8, 1954, in Austin, TX, the son of the late Paul and Leona Fink Schultz. Dennis was baptized in St. Paul Lutheran Church. He worked as a System Analyst for Walter Tips (1973-1978). He worked for Texas Department of Transportation for 35 years (1978-2013). Dennis received numerous awards during his tenure. He worked for NTT Data for 2 years (2013-2015). Dennis loved to eat and loved ice cream. His hobbies were photography, music, loved sports cars especially Formula 1 racing. He enjoyed going out to eat with family and friends. He was on dialysis 3 times a week for the past 4 years. He attended St. Paul Church where he worked the sound system for them. He is survived by his wife Virginia Schultz, his cousin Harlan Leschber and family, sister-in-law Janice Garrett and close childhood friends Linda and Jay Martyn and Phil Porter. Memorial Services will be held at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 3501 Red River St., Austin, TX at 11:00 AM, Thursday, Nov 11, 2021. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Paul Lutheran Church, American Diabetes Association, or the Austin Kidney Foundation would be appreciated.
