She was a woman of strong faith and loved God and was devoted to her friends and family. She was artistic and creative and had an extensive collection of knick knacks. She was very independent and was small, but very mighty. If you knew her, you knew she was very strong-willed. Her favorite motto was "Keep on Keeping On." She was a classy lady and fancy dresser, and was always very put together in her style. She loved her "Red Hat Society" Ladies and her "Curves" Ladies. She supported many charities, but Operation Smiles was her favorite.
She is preceded in death by her husband, James, whom she loved very much. Those left behind to cherish her memory include her children, Phil Miner, Jamie Miner and Holly Miner; grandchildren, Evan Miner, Stacia Vandermeer-Miner, Courtney Bird, and Aaron Bird; and her extended family of Anthony and Sara Serino.
Family and friends are invited to gather at a visitation to be held from Noon until 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. She will be laid to rest beside her husband at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Cemetery in Pflugerville.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Operation Smiles.
