Dorothy Marie Jergins

Dorothy spent many wonderful years as a stay at home Mom while raising her two children in Austin. She later opened and ran Dorothy’s Dance Shop in Round Rock for 21 years with her husband. The business is still open and family operated by her daughter-in-law Yvonne.

She will be greatly missed by her family that survives her including her husband of 57 years, Paul Jergins; son Judge Mike Jergins and wife Yvonne; daughter Dianna Howell and husband Jimmie; grandchildren: twins, David and Ashley Jergins and granddaughter Brooke Howell; brothers: David Harold McKee and Ronnie McKee.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents: David Lester McKee and Jessie Marie McKee.

Dorothy lived many years with Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP); a condition that has no cure; the family has requested that donations be made to PSP.org in memory of Dorothy.

The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to LightHouse Hospice for the compassionate care they provided.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday evening from 6-8 PM at Cook-Walden Capital Parks Funeral Home. Funeral Services will take place at 1 PM, Wednesday, July 4, 2012 at Cook-Walden Capital Parks Memorial Chapel in Pflugerville with interment to follow at Cook-Walden Capital Parks Cemetery.
