Edna Pearl Hansen

Edna was born October 9, 1924 in Bay City, Texas to Eula Maggie Wofford and stepfather Wesley Blakey. Edna grew up in Austin Texas where she met the love of her life Frank Hansen, Sr. Edna and Frank lived in many different places stateside during World War II before making their permanent home in Austin, Texas. Edna and Frank shared special moments camping out at Lake Travis, taking trips on a motorcycle, spending precious time together, and recently celebrated their 72nd Wedding Anniversary on April 4th of this year. Edna was a warm, tender-hearted mother, daughter, and grandmother who made friends easily. She met and fell in love with friends from Glad Tidings Church, First Baptist Church Pflugerville, neighbors in around Austin and Pflugerville, and with members of the Pflugerville Police Department. Edna worked for The Texas Department of Public Safety before retiring with 20 years of service.

Edna survived by her loving husband, Frank Hansen, son and daughter-in-law, Win and Debbie Hansen of Austin, Texas, grandson and wife, Mark and Sandi Hansen of Anton, Texas, and grandson and wife, Matthew and Elizabeth Hansen of Katy, Texas, and several aunts and cousins.

Edna is preceded in death by her mother - Eula Maggie Wofford and stepfather – Wesley Blakey.
