Elisa R. Gomez

She was born in Nixon, Texas on April 10, 1924.

Elisa was preceded in death by her husband, Juan U. Gomez; her daughters, Maria Elisa Gomez (Torres) and Adelaida Gomez; and her parents, Patricio and Adelaida Rodriguez.

She is survived by her three sons, Johnny and his wife Blanca, David and his wife Dora and Victor and his wife Elsa; four daughters, Petra Martinez, Viola Rabago, Victoria and her husband Alberto Estrada and Josie Gomez; twenty-two grandkids, thirty-six great grandkids and twenty-seven great great grandkids. Elisa was a long time member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Hutto, Texas and St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Pflugerville, Texas.

She had a passion for going shopping and eating out, as well as attending church.

In honor of Elisa, the family has asked that you all please wear blue, her favorite color, to help celebrate her life during her services.

Visitation will be held at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home, 14501 North Interstate 35 Pflugerville, Texas 78660, on Wednesday, February 5, 2020 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a Rosary Service beginning at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 2500 Limmer Loop Hutto, Texas 78634 at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, February 6, 2020 with the committal service immediately following at Cook-Walden/Memorial Hill Cemetery.
