

Elizabeth graduated from Balboa High School, Panama Canal Zone and received a degree in Administration from Panama Canal Zone College.
Elizabeth began her career in the United States Army and after completing her time there, she worked in various administrative fields for the government ranging from Paralegal Assistant to Administrative Assistant. She retired from Civil Service working at Lackland Medical Hospital, Lackland Air Force Base, Texas in the Oncology Medical department.
Elizabeth enjoyed dancing and watching old movies. She loved watching old TV shows such as; I Love Lucy, Andy Griffith and The Golden Girls.
She is survived by her mother, Mary Lou Nickerson; her brother, Gilbert Nickerson; her sister, Sandra Nickerson; and nephews, Sean Turner and John Nickerson; as well as, many beloved uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.

Rosary will be recited on Thursday, September 1, 2016 at 7 p.m. at the Cook Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home Memorial Chapel, 14501 Interstate Hwy 35, Pflugerville, Texas 78660, with a viewing from 6 p.m. until 7 p.m. Funeral Liturgy Service will be held Friday, September 2 at 10 a.m. at the Memorial Chapel of the funeral home. Graveside services with military honors will follow at 1:30 p.m., Friday at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery at 1520 Harry Wurzbach Road, San Antonio, Texas 78209.
Flowers may be sent to the Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home in Pflugerville.
