Emma Jean Jorgensen, age 77, of Round Rock, passed away on Tuesday, February 28, 2012. She was born in Austin on May 16, 1934 to Rufus Willis and Maudie Isabel Young. Emma had been a resident of Round Rock for 35 years.
Emma is preceded in death by her sons, Kenneth Wayne Rossmeyer and Thomas Clayton.
She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Jorgensen of Round Rock; daughter, Lorraine Rossmeyer of Round Rock; son, David Rossmeyer and wife Audrey of Leander; daughter, Robin McCaffrey and husband Ronan of Keller; grandchildren, Aiden McCaffrey, Morgan McCaffrey, Brittany Kindle, and Kerri Maxwell; and great-grandchildren, BreAnn Lavalais and Jadin Chagoya. She is also survived by her sister, Leana Rose Hyden.
Family and friends are invited to a visitation on Friday, March 2, 2012 from 2:30 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home in Pflugerville. Funeral services will follow at 3:30 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Cemetery.
