Faye W. Davidson

She grew up in Birmingham, Alabama, and met her future husband, William Douglas Davidson, at Southside Baptist Church. They lived in six places over the years and raised three children. Mom always made sure her home was inviting and could cook a feast at a moment’s notice. She loved to cook, and in her later years made many beautiful, delicious cakes that she enjoyed sharing with fellow members at The Church at Highland Park, neighbors, and even her doctors.

When she wasn’t feeding everyone, she sold real estate in Austin for many years. Her clients loved her because of the time and energy she took to find the perfect home for them.

She is preceded in death by her husband, William Douglas Davidson, and her parents Willard Olan Wiginton and Esse Hight Wiginton.

She is survived by her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, David Olan Davidson (Annette), their son David (Valerie) and their children Caden and Graysen, and daughter Angela (Brandon) and their children JJ and Becca. Daniel Bryan Davidson (Debra) and their children Geoffrey (fiancée Elizabeth) and Wesley (Angela). Susan Carol Davidson Bewley (Mark) and their children Meredith and Madeleine.

A private graveside service will be held at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Cemetery.
