Francis William Baker, Jr., age 57, of Austin, passed away on May 27, 2017 after a long and brave battle with Huntington’s Disease. He was born on January 29, 1960 in Bremerhaven, Germany to Francis William Baker and Olivia (Childress) Baker.
He loved to cook and worked at several restaurants in Austin. He also loved to fish and spend time with his family.
Francis is preceded in death by his father. Those left behind to cherish his memory are his mother, Olivia Baker of Austin; sisters, Dominique Baker and Jackie Stevens; nephew, John Whigham; and nieces, Abra Patterson, Jamie Whigham and Morgan Whigham.
Family and friends are invited to a visitation to be held on Thursday, June 1, 2017 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home in Pflugerville. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. He will be laid to rest at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Cemetery.
