Francis Le

Born on February 10,1940, in Quảng Tri Province, Vietnam, Francis was a devoted son, a kind brother, a bright student, and a man of great dedication, purpose, and discipline. He graduated from the prestigious Vietnamese Military Academy, Trựớng Võ Bị Quốc Gia Đà Lạt, in 1967 and went on to serve his country with honor and conviction- a reflection of the integrity and commitment that defined his life. These same qualities guided him in all that he did, shaping the husband, father, and friend who inspired those around him through quiet strength and unwavering devotion.

In October 1990, Francis relocated with his family to the Austin, Texas area in pursuit of new opportunities and a brighter future. From the moment he arrived, he because the cornerstone of his family and a respected pillar of his community. Francis was known for his patience, compassion, and selfless nature- always willing to offer his time, guidance, and support to those in need. Whether teaching practical skills, such as learning to drive, or imparting life lessons on kindness, integrity, and humility, he led by quiet example. His wisdom, generosity, and unwavering devotion to his loved ones left an enduring legacy that continues to inspire all who were fortunate to know him.

Francis’s legacy will live on through his loving family. He is survived by his devoted and pious wife, Cuong Huyen, and his children: Nhi Le, Huan Le (and his wife Cindy Phan), and Hien Le (and his wife Phuong Ton). He was a proud and affectionate grandfather to Justina Huynh, Julie Huynh, Natalie Le, Athena Le, Jaclyn Le, and Claire Le.

Francis’s life will be celebrated and remembered at memorial services from Friday October 10 through Sunday, October 12, 2025, at Cook-Walden Funeral Home & Cemetery in Pflugerville, Texas.

Visitation and prayers will be held at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home, located at 14501 North Interstate 35, Pflugerville, Texas, 78660. The visitation will take place on October 10, 2025, from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm, and on October 11, 2025, from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

The funeral service will be conducted at the same venue on October 12, 2025, starting at 9:00 am.

The committal service will follow at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Cemetery, also located at 14501 North Interstate 35, Pflugerville, Texas, 78660, on October 12, 2025, at 1:00 pm.
