Frank James Torres

Frank was an avid sports fan; he loved all sports and was especially passionate about Texas Longhorn football and baseball. He was also a tried-and-true die-hard Dallas Cowboys fan. When he wasn’t watching sports, or reading statistics on sports, he was likely working on his next joke to try out on you. Frank loved a good joke and was always chasing the next laugh.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Ashely Torres. He is survived by his children, Frank Torres and Erica Torres; father, Frank Torres; mother, Esther Rodriguez and stepfather Domingo Rodriguez; brothers, Rodney Torres; Jason Rodriguez and wife Amanda Rodriguez; sisters, Lisa Torres, Mary Arocha and husband Larry Arocha, Linda Villarreal and husband Paul Villarreal, Yvonne Larralde, Annette Scott and husband Larry Scott; and many extended family members.

Frank was a kind-hearted soul and had a big heart. He could always be counted on to lighten the mood with a joke or provide words of encouragement when needed most. He touched the lives of many and will be deeply missed by his friends and loved ones.

A memorial service for Frank will be held Sunday, October 5, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home, 14501 North Ih-35, Pflugerville, TX 78660.
