

Gary was larger than life in every way. He will be remembered for his wonderful sense of humor, generosity, and love for his family and friends. He had an admirable compassion for children and animals. He had a fierce love of sports, particularly football, rugby and grillin’. He was his son’s biggest fan, and he was a father to many.
Gary’s career in fitness equipment began in Gregory Gym on the University of Texas campus in Austin, Texas. His hard work and dedication progressed him all the way to Senior Manager for Global Service and Training at Stairmaster/Core Health and Fitness.
He is survived by his caring wife Shauna Scott Pendleton, son Frank Ryan Pendleton, his parents Frank and Laura Thompson, Doug and Ann Savant, and Mike and Connie Scott, his brothers Jerry Pendleton and Bubba (Tina) Kaetzel, his sisters Michelle (Jim) Kerby and Joy (Mark) Camp, his nephews and nieces Hunter Camp, Ashley Kerby, Wesley Kaetzel, Kade and Konner Wood, and countless others, his aunt Pat Silvas, his cousins Japheth and Joshua Silvas and several others, his most beloved puppy Charlie Brown, his fabulous feline friend Bruiser, and his dogphew Snoopy. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Lela Nell and Cecil Hill, Jamie and Russell Scott, and nephew Cody Kerby.
A visitation will be held from 6:00pm – 8:00pm, on Saturday, October 26th, 2013 in the Memorial Chapel of Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home in Pflugerville. The memorial service will take place at 2:00pm on Sunday, October 27th at First United Methodist Church in Round Rock.
