He was a surprise to his mommy and daddy that they were having a boy that Friday morning at 8:43 A.M. 23rd of May 2014. Having being born at 9 weeks early, with some breathing complications, and other possible medical issues his family stayed with him for 6 days in the hospital. On the 6th day it was hard for his mommy and daddy to leave him in the NICU, but they had to and knew he was in good care. Days and nights were spent at his bed side with singing from grandma's, story telling from his mommy and daddy, and big sister. Weekends he had visitors from his Grammy and gramps, auntie and uncles all the way from corpus. Lots of love was surrounding him day in and day out while we anxiously awaited test results. Finally the day had come that our precious boy was diagnosed with a serious brain injury, without cure. After late nights of wondering what may come Gavin's 52 day lived journey had ended July 7th 2014.
We can only imagine what it would have been like to bring him home or to watch him grow, but what we do know is he is not suffering or in pain and will forever remain in our hearts.
Our amazing boy Gavin grew wings as he is now our guardian angel.
