Gloria V Martinez

She married the love of her life Steven Martinez and had two beautiful children together Marquesa and Marcel who they loved and cherished deeply.

Gloria had a passion for teaching and graduated with a Bachelor’s in Education from University of Texas at Austin. She was on her way to becoming a teacher before her passing. Gloria was a cheerful, giving person. She loved helping others, was a good neighbor, trusted friend and wonderful mother. She was always smiling and spread kindness everywhere she went. Some of her hobbies included baking and making extravagant decor for events like weddings.

She was preceded in death by her little brother Rolando Vega, her mother Aurora R. Vega and her step-mother Felicita R. Vega.

Gloria is survived by her husband Steven Martinez, her daughter Marquesa A. Martinez, her son Marcel A. Martinez, father Ben M. Vega and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

A memorial service for Gloria will be held Monday, January 30, 2023 at 10:00 a.m., at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home, 14501 North Interstate 35, Pflugerville, Texas 78660.
