With hearts full of both sorrow and gratitude, we share that Helga Morrow went home to be with Jesus on October 28, 2024. A beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. Born on April 14, 1936, in Hanover, Germany, she immigrated to America at the age of 13 and later became a proud U.S. citizen on November 11, 1954. She was married to her loving husband, Lou who preceded her in death in 2019. Together, they shared a life filled with faith, love, and devotion.
Helga is survived by her loving daughters, Jennifer Roberie and her husband John and Sandy Litton and her husband Michael. She is also survived by her beloved grandchildren, Amy Dietz and her husband Johnston, Brian Roberie and his wife Tammy, and Tiffany Litton and her partner Jake Willingham, as well as her precious great-grandchildren, Karsyn, Jaxson, Jhett, Olivia, Jailyn, Landon and KJ.
Helga was a wonderful Christian whose love for Jesus touched everyone she encountered. Her faith was her foundation, and she spent her life serving others with kindness, grace, and compassion. She was cherished by her family, her community, and her friends, who remember her for her gentle spirit and unwavering strength.
A celebration of her life will be held on November 4, 2024 at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Austin, TX.
