Hue Kim Nguyen

After growing up in various parts of South Vietnam, Hue married her husband, Dien Huu Nguyen on June 8, 1952. The couple continued to move around often due to Dien’s military career. After the fall of Saigon in 1975, Hue immigrated with her husband and two sons to the United States. They arrived in Oakland, California where they resided for 2 years before moving to Austin, making it their permanent home for the past 35 years.

She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Dien Huu Nguyen; son, Huy Nguyen and wife Hue Nguyen; son, Khoa Nguyen and wife Allison Nguyen; grandchildren, Brigitte and Brian Nguyen, and Logan and Brooklyn Nguyen; sisters, Nga and Nhuy Ngo; and brothers, Hien, Phat and Xuan Ngo.

Visitation will be held Friday, February 3, 2012 from 11:00 am - 9:00 pm, and Saturday and Sunday, February 4 - 5, from 9:00 am - 9:00 pm at Cook-Walden Capital Parks Funeral Home in Pflugerville, Texas. Services will begin Monday, February 6 at 10:00 am in the Memorial Chapel of Cook-Walden Capital Parks Funeral Home.
