He was born in Austin, Texas on December 26, 1958, to Jack and Evelyn Conditt. James graduated from Travis High School in Austin and was employed by Smith Nephew prior to his illness. He was a member of Austin Alive Church and enjoyed working and helping out in different areas of the church. James loved watching football and baseball and he also loved the challenge of building things.
James is survived by his wife of 13 years, Sharon Conditt and his father, Jack Conditt. He is also survived by his children, Raichell, Jessica (Pat), Ashley, Dustin (Stephanie), Heather, Matthew (Kandace) and Delicia. He will also be greatly missed by his brother Chris (Susan) and his two sisters, Kim and Robin (DJ), his one aunt, Shirley, his uncle G.W. (Geneva), and his two nephews, Jeremy and Joshua, as well as his many cousins. James leaves behind his seven grandchildren, Cleveland, Celeste, Cameron, Cayden, Sandina, Kaleb and Summer.
A visitation for James' family and friends will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home in Pflugerville, Texas. The funeral service will take place at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, June 21, 2018 at Austin Alive Church 305 Deen Avenue, Austin, Texas followed by a committal service at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Cemetery.
