James Wilson Giesen, Jr.

He is preceded in death by his father James Wilson Giesen Sr. his grandfather, William J Balusek, grandmother Dorothy Gentry and grandfather Edwin Giesen. Those left behind to cherish his memory are his mother, Debra Strackbein and husband Maynard; his wife, Patricia Giesen; his son, Sawyer James Giesen; step-father, Mark Breit and wife Lana; grandmother, Ruth A. Balusek; brother, Edwin Giesen and wife Ashley; sister, Kari Morrow and husband Jeremy; brother, Bill Breit; step-brother, Chad Strackbein; and nieces Sammi Giesen and Kaylynn Morrow.

Family and friends are invited to a visitation to be held on Tuesday, January 17th from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home in Pflugerville. Funeral services will be on Wednesday, January 18th at 10:00 a.m. in the Memorial Chapel of Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Cook-Walden/Memorial Hill Cemetery.

Honoring James as pallbearers are Edwin Giesen, Bill Breit, Jeremy Morrow, Joseph Balusek ll, Dusty Balusek and Cecil Balusek. Honorary pallbearers are Chris Moore, David E. Balusek, and Harley Vanhoose.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a trust fund for James’ son, Sawyer James Giesen.
