She was born in Lynn, Massachusetts on January 14, 1933.
Jean Dontigney (Francis) graduated High School in Lynn, Massachusetts in 1950.
She was married to Leland W. Dontigney on October 31, 1953.
Jean worked as a manager in professional services after serving 3 years in the United States Air Force from 1951 to 1954.
She was a member of United States Bowling Congress for many years and had a passion for the sport. Her hobbies also included bingo, gambling (especially the Slots), watching football, and board games with her family. But none of these were more important to her than spending time with her family.
She is survived by her daughter Cherie Denise Lewis of Austin, TX, her granddaughter Jennifer Lee Rivera of Austin, TX, and her great grandson Roland Lee Rivera. She is also survived by her sister Jackie Malo and family of Roseville, California. She was preceded in death by Leland, her husband of 61 years.
