

Jeff was born on February 4, 1962 to Robert and Jewel Fox in San Antonio, TX. He attended Sam Houston High School. Jeff learned the trade of plumbing and became a licensed plumber, specializing in multi-family housing in San Antonio/Austin area. He was a licensed plumber for 40 years. His career ended working with Vamvoras Plumbing. Jeff had an immense love for our country and was very patriotic. He loved his country even though he was not able to serve in the military. His favorite hobby was riding his Harley any chance he got. He also loved playing slot machines and loved playing on his iPad. Jeff “Silver Fox” was a volunteer with Guardians of The Children - Hill Country Chapter with his wife Carol “Storm” and then both became members.
Jeff met the love of his life Carol in 1995 and they were married August 22, 1998. Jeff adored Carol with all of his heart and would always tell anyone he knew that Carol was his Queen. Jeff was an exemplary stepfather and loved supporting Stefan’s passions for athletics, worldly travels, and his ongoing entrepreneurial pursuits.
Anyone who knew Jeff, knew that he was a loyal friend, always the first one
to offer help, and an exceptional listener.
Jeff was preceded in death by his parents Robert and Jewel Fox and his mother-in-law Chiyoko Sunagawa Uptmor whom he never got to meet until he got to Heaven.
He leaves behind his loving wife Carol Fox of Round Rock, his son Stefan Fincias of Austin, sister Alice and Terry Stewart of LaVernia, brother Micah Fox of Canyon Lake, brothers Justin Stead of Waco, Johnny and Melissa Stead of Waco, sisters Gena Stead of Whitney, Burnadett Stead of Waco, brother Matt “Coma” and Eugenia “La Vida” Smock of New Braunfels, numerous nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews. And a very special niece that he held near and dear to his heart Deseray Matteson of Austin.
Services for Jeff will be held at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home & Cemetery, 14501 North Ih-35, Pflugerville, TX 78660.
Visitation will occur Saturday, February 5, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 8:00PM. Jeff’s funeral service will occur Sunday, February 6, 2022 at 10:00 AM. Upon conclusion of funeral services, Jeff’s ashes will remain with Carol and family.
