Joey C. Mims, Sr., of Round Rock, Texas, died Friday, November 23, 2012. He was born in Beaumont, Texas on June 10, 1957, the son of Clementine Vallare Mims and the late O'Neal Mims, Sr. For several years he worked at Coca-Cola and later started his own company (4-M Refrigeration).
Mr. Mims leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife, Lubecca; children, Shantel Mims-Jones (Michael) of Hutto, Texas, and Joey C. Mims II of Lincoln, Nebraska; grandchildren, Madison & Mackenzie; brother, O'Neal Mims, Jr., of Austin, Texas; niece Pamela Mims of Austin, Texas; nephews, O'Neal Mims III of France, and Quincy Mims; and great niece Zyahna.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Kenneth Mims of Little Rock, Arkansas.
A visitation will be held in the Memorial Chapel of Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home in Pflugerville, Texas from 8:30 am – 10:00 am, Saturday, December 1, 2012. Funeral services will immediately follow at 10:00 am. Interment will be at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Cemetery in Pflugerville.
