Jonathan was one of the best people i ever knew he was so happy all the time,so goofy. 

Jonathan would always run in the house and wrestle with his dog, then wrestle with his sister. 
He would get to that point that borders annoying.  He would say "Ok I am Leaving now" with that silly little grin on his face knowing we would see him tomorrow. 
I believe Ace knows he is no longer here and we sometimes look at the door waiting for him to come in.

Man where to begin... We haven’t really talked/hung out  since high shool but occasionally we would send each other messages talking about our dogs because they are siblings. He always made fun of mine lol Jonathan and I met 7th grade year and oh man did I have the biggest crush on him. lol We have tons of memories together but one of my favorites was him giving me a nickname. Everybody called me Oreo but Jonathan being Jonathan had to be different and  was like “naw, I’m going to call you Cookie instead!” and he did. Lol   He was the sweetest and funniest guy. He really knew how to make people smile. I’m really going to miss him! Love you Jonathan! 

Jd I miss ya buddy. Every time we were together it was nothing but good times and smiles. Rip 

I'm going to start this off by saying I MISS MY DAWG! My best friend of 18 years. I remember the first day I met him like if it was  yesterday. I had just moved to the block and had no friends. Me and my dad where playing pool in our garage when we had seen JD walk out of his house. My dad had told me to go say whats up and make a new friend but I was too shy. So my dad had to invite him over and we introduced our selves to each other and played pool, joked, laughed as if we where already  best friends. we did that till the day was over. After that we hung out almost everyday since then. We have so many memories I wouldn't have time to tell you but 
 One thing for sure is JD was a great guy. He was funny always knew how to make friends and make people laugh. JD was a very generous person, I don't think I've ever heard him tell anyone no unless he didn't have it or couldn't do it. If you needed help he did what he could. I remember one night after hanging out all night he was going inside to go to sleep but I had a panic/anxiety attack and needed to walk around and clear my mind. I had asked him if he could walk with me before he went in and he didn't hesitate to say yes. We walked and talked and he didn't leave until he knew I was ok. That's the kind of person JD was he was nice and He always kept to himself and didn't start no problems with anyone he was so chill, and knew how to live life. He never said no to anything he was always down to create great memories. I will never forget you jonah, all the laughs we shared and all the days/nights we stayed up chilling, all the times we got in trouble and all the crazy things we got ourselves into. Words can't explain the feeling i have, knowing I'll never walk outside or pull up to  my dad's house to see you there next door or you pulling up banging your music and everyone knows how much you loved your bang. Idk if I'll ever get past this feeling, but just know I miss you DAWG we all miss you Till next time my brother.

jD ! The chillest person I know ! Ever since sixth grade you have always known how to make everyone smile laugh have a great time !! Always brought happiness and life to a room !! Was an amazing and Excellent friend ! Helped each other out in class when one of us didn’t know the answer !!  Always had good vibes !!you are the good vibes !  I can’t even say I’ve ever seen you mad ! You are loved and always will will be !! Love you Jonathan!! Just know you will never be forgotten!!

Where to begin.... I've known JD since 7th grade but didnt really get to know him until freshman year maybe 8th grade summer time but i remember it was the whole crew maybe like 8 of us.  we used to do so much stupid stuff it was unbelievable we always got away with it (maybe a couple of us did) but JD was the chillest out of all of us he was never violent the only thing he did do was cuss like a sailor but we all did. My memories with my best friend are endless i mean i have so many and not to mention his brother matt taught me how to do MMA and get a 4 pack lol, so if it werent for JD i would of never had gotten close to his family like i am now. My memories were the best and when i think about the stupid times all i can do is smile for my boi. The last game me and JD played was god of war because he kept telling me...dude..dude buy god of war its on sale cmon man do it...do it. So i did and we would literally play the game until 3 am with our other homies, Monty and mario and while we played we made fun of eachother called eachother names but at the end of the day we would laugh so hard the time didnt mean anything which was the best times. I want you all to know JD is in a better place i feel his presence at random times and when i do i let him know i love him and it makes me feel so peaceful. I know JD is watching over us specially his family which is my family too( i was adopted.... not really). Just know We love you DUDE and we will see you when its time. RIP JONAH 👐✊ or shall we say Blacc-Appach3 which is forever my homies gamertag on his PS4. 

I would like to share the story of how Jonathan became a hero in my household. 

I have a son who was 1 and a half at the time and he was sick. Because of this I stayed home and just asked if Jonathan wanted to come by. He did obviously, but while we were hanging out my son collapsed and had a seizure. Without hesitation Jon grabbed his keyes, our phones and we headed out the door to the nearest ER. He ran all the stop signs and all the red lights to make sure we got my son to the hospital. I dont know what I would've done had he not been here. He saved my son's life and saved me from having to deal with the heartbreak of losing a child. I miss him and to my family he IS family.

Rogers is survived by his parents David & Angelica Rogers, brother Mathew Adam Rogers, sisters Erica Renee & Dionna Rae Rogers, grand Parents Tommy & Louise Brown & Miguel & Mary Jane Zamarron, great Grandmothers Domitila Zamarron and Ernestine Carbajal, uncle's and aunts Damon & Dina Brown, Keri & Ben Womack, Veronica & Bonifacio Alba, and Maribel Zamarron along with several cousins throughout both sides of the family.
