

June was born in Waco, TX and raised in Austin, TX. Graduated from Stephen F. Austin High School in 1959 and attended The University of Texas from September of 1959 – May 1960. She retired after 31 years with Southwestern Bell (SBC). June went on to work at various places including Congress Avenue Baptist Church, The State of Texas, and Fellowship Church Austin. She loved working and spreading her love to all. June was loved by so many, and there wasn’t a life or heart she didn’t touch by her beautiful smile and genuine love for the Lord. He just flowed through her.
In her spare time, June loved to sing and play games. She loved watching football and baseball. Her favorite teams were the Texas Longhorns, the Cowboys, and the Texas Rangers. June’s favorite saying was “If you pay attention, like I pay attention, you always pay attention”. But most of all she loved the Lord and her Family. June loved being Maw-Maw and Grandma Willie.
June is preceded in death by her husband of 13 years, William “Bill” Sharon, her parents Harry and Ruth Pesnell, Sister Wynann Pesnell Martin, Brother Jim Pesnell, Brother Tom Pesnell.
She is survived by her children, Jim Jordan, Jeffrey and Kari Jordan, and Janet Jordan Herrera. Grandchildren Alana Jordan, Ethan Jordan, Tristan Jordan, Kyle and Missy McConnell, Jeffrey and Hannah Jordan, Jordan Nitsche, Jackson Herrera, and Jessica Herrera; Great Grandchildren Ty McConnell, Jacob McConnell, Oliver Jordan and Atticus Jordan. Her Siblings Joyce Pesnell Rachuig and husband Robert, John Pesnell and wife Sandra, Brother-in-Law Kent Martin, Sister-In-Law Nita Pesnell, Sister-In-Law Linda Pesnell, and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews. Her bonus family, Paula and Doug Meyers, Bill and Shannon Sharon, Margie and Jim Virdell, Brother-in-Law Larry Sharon and many Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren, whom she loved so much.

There will be a visitation held on Wednesday, March 6, 2024, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home, located at 14501 North Interstate 35, Pflugerville, Texas. The funeral service will be held Thursday, March 7, 2024, at 10:00 am at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home, located at 14501 North Interstate 35, Pflugerville, Texas. Committal will follow at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Cemetery in Pflugerville, Texas.
