Katalina Faith Olsen

Katalina Faith Olsen, age 11, of Pflugerville, TX, was called home to our Lord, Wednesday morning (March 13, 2024). She was born April 12, 2012, in Austin, TX, a most beloved daughter of Ashley Tello, Ian and Katerine Olsen.

Katalina was born at St. David’s hospital in Austin, TX at 5:15am on April 12th, 2012, a beautiful healthy baby at 7 pounds and 8 ounces. She was the first-born baby for her parents, a blessing brought by God. Katalina was filled with life, loved to laugh, take pictures and videos with family, and brought many joys to her family. She loved watching her favorite movie Nemo, and always enjoyed having her family and stuffed animals watch with her.

Even through all the trials and tribulations of Rett Syndrome, Katalina never once fussed and remained brave and strong through the many hospital stays. She was a perfect angel here on Earth as in Heaven. May God bless her always.

Surviving is Katerine Olsen, wife of Ian Olsen; two sisters, Penelope Olsen and Elaine Olsen; one brother, Santiago Vergara-Coneo; Four great-grandparents, Sindey Ramon and Ken Winter; David and Shirley Olsen. Four grandparents, Randall and Jennifer Johnson; Janet Olsen; Dennis and Karen Olsen. Many great uncles and aunts, Chris Ramon; Kevin and Allyanna Ramon; Eric Gamez; Steve and Jennifer Liehr; Bill and Becky Eimermann; Brian and Bonnie Allers; Lonnie and Debbie Pederson. Three uncles and two aunts, Abram Johnson; Joe and Bonnie McLaughlin; David and Adair Olsen; and many cousins.

Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, March 22, 2024 at St. Williams Catholic Church in Round Rock, Texas. A Graveside service will be held immediately following at Cook Walden Capital Parks Cemetery in Pflugerville, Texas.
