

Kenneth Wayne Brown passed away peacefully at his home after a long and fulfilling life on November 7, 2024, in Georgetown, Texas at the age of 80 years old. Kenneth was born on March 10, 1944, in Wichita Falls, Texas to Herbert and Beatrice Brown. In 1961, he married his high school sweetheart and the love of his life, Myra. They lived together almost inseparable for over 63 years and have shared a life full of amazing adventures. Kenneth was known for his strong will, unwavering determination, and genuine love and support for his wife and family.
He moved his family to Central Texas in 1977 and had a long career at IBM. He was the go-to handy man of the entire family who could fix anything. He enjoyed woodworking, computer technology, riding bikes, mind challenging games/puzzles, chicken fried steak, Blue Bell ice cream and spending time with his family. He always had a video camera or camera in hand to document all cherished memories. He is preceded in death by his parents, Herbert and Beatrice Brown, Sister Vivian Mayfield and Brother-in-law Howard Mayfield. He is survived by his loving wife, Myra Brown, their cat Lewis, his beautiful children, Sandy (Dannie) Robbins, Dana (Tiana) Brown, LaDeana (Donald) Willis, six grandchildren, Taylor (Luke) Willis, Jordon (Shelby) Willis, Lindsey (Christopher) Blackwell, Leena (Jordan) Shackleford, Ariana Robbins and Kinsey (Greg) Robbins, along with seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on November 15, 2024, from 11:00am –1:00pm and Graveside Service from 1:00pm-2:00pm at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home, 14501 North IH-35, Pflugerville, Texas 78660.
