Capt. Kirby N. Kirkconnell

Kirby was born to Adee and Eileen Kirkconnell on the island of Bonacca, Honduras on September 6, 1943.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers, Thomas, Dale, and Cody; his sister, Alene; and his daughter, Shelley. Left to forever miss him are his five children, Lyndon, Roxy, Tanya, Sondra, and Kirby Jr.; his two daughters-in-law, Jessica and Lesa; his three sons-in- law, Tray, Henry and Carlos; his nine grandchildren, Lynsey, Blair, Korvyn, Jack, John, Grace, Ellie, Ava and Charlie; his brothers, Dave, Wavell, Dan, and Austin; his sisters, Yvonne, Yvette and Darla and a host of nieces and nephews, friends and family who all loved him dearly.

The family will receive friends prior to funeral services at the Cook-Walden Capital Parks Funeral Home in Pflugerville, Texas. Funeral services will be in the Memorial Chapel of the funeral home beginning at 3:30 p.m., Saturday, June 7, 2014. Interment will follow at the Cook-Walden Capital Parks Cemetery.

Honoring him as pallbearers are Kirby Kirkconnell, Jr., Tray Wyman, Carlos Gatlin, Henry Galdamez, Richard Pascal, and Lyndon Kirkconnell.
