She was born on March 21st, 1941, in Austin, TX.
She was 83 years of age at the time of her passing. She is preceded in death by her father, Knox Eddie Reed; her mother, Lillie Belle Lykins Reed; along with many of her siblings.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years, CJ Schofield, of Cedar Park, TX; her daughter, Lisa Carter, and husband, Steve, of Volente, TX; her son, Troy Schofield, and wife, Diane, of Liberty Hill, TX; her son, Rory Schofield, and wife, Cathy, of Jacksonville, NC.; five Granddaughters, four Grandsons, four Great-Granddaughters, one Step Great-Granddaughter, and five Great-Grandsons.
All that knew her knew that she was giving to a fault. She would do without to ensure her family and friends would not have to.

A visitation for Leta will be held Sunday, April 21, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home, 14501 North Interstate 35, Pflugerville, Texas 78660. A funeral service will occur Sunday, April 21, 2024 at 12:00 p.m., at the funeral home. A committal service will follow at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Cemetery in Pflugerville, Texas.
