

Manuel worked for the United States Postal Service as a mail carrier and retired after 37 years. He married the love of his life, Velia Cantu, and they had three beautiful children. He served in the army from 1959 to 1966. He often enjoyed traveling and spending time with family and friends. He was an avid Texas Longhorn fan and a car enthusiast.
He is survived by daughters Melissa (Missy) Silguero and husband David, and Jennifer Ruedas; Grandchildren Mike Ruedas, Anthony “Boo” Ruedas, Justin Ruedas, Dylan Ruedas, Cooper Estrada, Megan Silguero, and Katie Silguero; great-grandchildren Emma Ruedas, Eziah Ruedas, Ezekiel Ruedas, Gianna Ruedas, and Naya Ruedas. He is preceded in death by his parents, Josephine and Joe ‘Angel’ Estrada; brother Joe Estrada; wife Velia Estrada; son Tony Estrada; and son-in-law Anthony Ruedas SR.

A Funeral Mass will be held at Saint William Catholic Church, 620 Round Rock W Dr, Round Rock, TX 78681, US, on May 11, 2026, at 10:00 am.
