Margaret graduated from Austin High School in 1940 and then attended business college. In 1948, Margaret wed local attorney Roy Youngblood Martin to whom she remained married to until his death in 1987.
Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, her parents and siblings Alvin Krause, Beuna Wade and Joe Henry Krause, Sr.
She will be greatly missed by her friends and family that survive her, including her daughters Mary Kay Martin, Pat Martin Davis and husband Tommy, and Laura Martin Bruell and husband Peter; grandchildren Ted Cackowski, Jr. and Stephanie Shaver, along with two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Friday, July 5, 2013 at Cook-Walden Capital Parks Cemetery Mausoleum Chapel. Interment will follow the services at Cook-Walden Capital Parks Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Ted Cackowski, Jr., Tommy Davis, Peter Bruell, Darrell Dawson and Paul Krause.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations be made to Presbyterian Children’s Home 4407 Bee Cave Road, Suite 520 Austin, Texas 78746-6496.
