

Mark A. Harper, 36, of Austin, Texas, passed away on December 19, 2025. He was born on July 2, 1989, in San Antonio, Texas, to Audrey and Roger Harper. The Harper family later settled in Pflugerville, Texas, where Mark grew up surrounded by family, friends, and community.
Mark was a proud graduate of Pflugerville High School, Class of 2007. After graduation, he went on to serve the City of Austin as a dedicated wastewater specialist, taking pride in his work and the role, he played in supporting his community.
Known for his energy and love of life, Mark stayed active playing basketball and football. He enjoyed peaceful days spent fishing and was deeply committed to his faith, remaining an active and devoted churchgoer. Mark’s strong spirit, kind heart, and love for his family left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.
Mark was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ruby and Ellis Harper, Flora and William Wright, and his beloved brother, Seth A. Harper.
He leaves behind a legacy of love through his parents, Audrey and Roger Harper; his three cherished children, De’Andre Harper, Xena Harper, and Princess Harper; his sister, Monicia Harper; and many other family members, friends, and loved ones who will forever hold his memory close.
A visitation will be held at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home, located at 14501 North Interstate 35, Pflugerville, Texas, 78660, on January 2, 2026, starting at 12:00 pm.
The committal service will follow on the same day at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Cemetery, also located at 14501 North Interstate 35, Pflugerville, Texas, 78660, beginning at 2:00 pm.
