Kendall Family, My deepest condolences with your recent loss of Mark, especially at such a young age. As all of you are aware, Mark was an extremely special person. Even as a young man. I attended junior high & high school with Mark & had always wondered what happened to him. At our 40th high school reunion in July '10, no one I asked seemed to know how his life was going. May God Bless & be with all of you during your transition.

I am so sorry to learn of Mark's death.  he was a very popular student at Borger High.  I lost track of him after graduation but would occasionally here about him through my parents, Dave & Pat Poundstone.  My condolences to his family.

I worked with Mark for several years in Bartlesville.  We shared in community service through the DayBreak Rotary Club there.  We enjoyed working together at Phillips as well as community services. I will miss him.  JP Liggett (Bartlesville)

Comfort for Mark's family and friends at this time of loss is in my prayers.  It's so hard to underrstand why some people don't get a full life on this earth.  Glad Mark was one who enjoyed all his days no matter what.  I enjoyed working with him in HR from all the locations he was at for Phillips & ConocoPhillips. Admired him for his desire to be fair to all and his calmness in any of the work situations.  Last time he and I talked we discussed how great retirement was so I'm happy that he got to enjoy some of those years.

I met Mark when he was the Insurance Manager in Central Administration at Phillips.  He was a joy to work with and a super nice guy.  Am praying for his friends and family.

Mark was one of the first people I met when I joined Phillips Petroleum Company in 1980. He was working in Bartlesville with Steve Payton in the EEOC office, a long narrow office in the HS&L building with no windows. I was a trainee and wondered how they stayed awake all day in that closed up office working such a dry topic as EEO. When my training rotation to Mark's group came,I quickly learned, he had fun no matter what he was working on. I remember at time when Mark showed Kyla Sand and me a picture of him with long, long hair on a motorcycle. As I grew to know Mark over the years, I understood this picture of him much better. Mark had a free spirit and the courage to be himself. My deepest sympathy during this time of loss. The passing of a son, husband, parent, and friend leaves a hole that can never be filled, only softened by the warm memories that we have. You are in our thoughts.

I knew Mark thru Phillips. We first met in Denver and then our paths crossed again at the Sweeny Refinery and in Houston. He was a great mentor, supervisor and friend and was always quick with wisdom and wit. He will be missed by all of us that were lucky to know him.

I knew Mark through membership at Triumphant Love Lutheran Church and Stephen Ministry.  He was kind and gentle, and I am sure the gates were standing wide open as he arrived.

Mark was someone I admired and respected and I am proud to have called him a friend and colleague. He added to the world around him a great deal of integrity, humor, and caring. God Bless you during this time of grieving.

Mark was a true gentleman and a pleasure to work with. I respected him and considered him a good friend. I wish I could be in Austin.

Mark was a great person.  I really enjoyed working with him when he managed the Insurance group in Bartlesville.  He had a quick wit and genuinely cared about the people he worked with.  May God's peace be yours.
