Marvin Stark, age 84, of Austin, Texas, went home to be with the Lord on August 29, 2016. He was born in Georgetown, Texas on October 25, 1931. Marvin graduated from Florence High School. He was married to Barbara Ann Stark on April 20, 1957.
Marvin is survived by his wife, Barbara, son, Greg Stark, and wife, Leslie, of Round Rock, Texas, son, Jeff Stark of Austin, Texas, 2 grandchildren, Lauren and Ryan Stark, and 3 brothers, Clarence Stark, Milton Stark, and Weldon Stark, as well as many extended family members, friends, and loved ones.
Visitation for family and friends will be Tuesday, August 30, 2016 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home in Pflugerville. Funeral service will be at 1:00 pm in the Memorial Chapel of the funeral home Wednesday, August 31, 2016. Mr. Stark will be laid to rest in the Florence Cemetery following the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimers Association.
