She is survived by her beloved husband, Clarence M. Beck; her Godchild, Amber Stevener & husband, Brad Stevener, their children, Connor, Shara, & Grayson; her family of choice, Michael & Gloria Bashara, their children & grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, cherished friends, and loved ones.
After graduating high school in Spokane, Washington, Mary went to school to be an X-Ray technician. Her journey eventually brought her to Austin, where she worked for Dr. Doles till his death. She then continued her technician work with Dr. Paulson, till his death, as well. Finally, she worked for many years with Bill Rudolph, whom she considered a dear, lifelong friend, at Austin Hearing Aid Center.
Mary loved God, her treasured husband, the color green, hummingbirds, getting lost, quiet faith, André Rieu, insanely intelligent thoughts, her chosen people, laughing, being creative, children, sentimentality, reading, using her hands, baseball, and going to the theater. She has been a beautiful gift to those who were lucky enough to receive her love.
Reception to follow internment at Mike & Gloria’s, 607 Quail Creek Drive, Round Rock, TX, 78664.
